Evidence-led hiring
HireLane is a hiring studio that runs entirely in your browser. Search employer-provided openings, see exactly why each result matches you, and track every application - without selling your attention to anyone.
How it works
Every listing is employer-provided with compensation up front. Filter by work mode, employment type, and minimum pay - the filter exists because the data exists.
Enter your evidence skills once and every result carries its match reasons. Sorting by best evidence match is a computation you can audit, not a ranking you have to trust.
Stages, dates, and evidence packets per application. A follow-up coach counts days-in-stage and drafts the nudge when a thread goes stale.
Inside a search
One role through the flow the studio actually runs: filtered from the real corpus, ranked with named reasons, and carried through a pipeline that remembers every stage.
Job search
Role, location, minimum pay, work mode, employment type. The filters only offer what the listings actually carry, because listings come from employers through a quality gate - not from a crawler.
Every listing carries compensation, so you can filter on it. No "competitive salary" dead ends.
Work mode is structured data on the listing, not a keyword buried in the description.
Newest, highest pay, best evidence match. No "featured" slot money can buy.
Match reasons
Enter the skills you can actually demonstrate. Match reasons compare them against what the listing asks for, and show the overlap on every card.
A match score without reasons is marketing. HireLane shows why each opening matched, so you can disagree with it.
Shortlist and alerts
Save any search as an alert and new matching listings surface against it. Your shortlist stays on your device - it is a working set, not a signal we sell.
The exact query, filters, and minimum pay become a named alert you can rerun any time.
Bookmark openings into a shortlist that never leaves the browser.
Alerts exist to tell you something new matched. There is no streak, no feed, no manufactured urgency.
Application pipeline
Track each application through its stages with dates and an evidence packet attached. Pipeline rates are computed from your recorded history - honest conversion numbers, not dashboard filler.
Every card shows how long it has been sitting where it sits. Staleness is a number, not a feeling.
Stale applications surface with copy-ready follow-up drafts. You send them yourself, from your own mail.
The resume version, links, and notes you used for this application stay attached to it.
Employer desk
Employers draft listings locally and pass a quality gate before publishing: real compensation, structured work mode, concrete requirements. Vague listings do not ship.
Pay, mode, and requirements are required fields. The gate is why job-seeker filters can work.
Listings are drafted in the browser and reviewed before anything goes live.
Company profiles carry the information an applicant actually needs to decide.
Trust rules
Listings come from the employer desk, not a crawler. Stale third-party posts do not exist here.
Sort orders are newest, pay, and evidence match. There is no promoted slot.
Your searches, shortlist, and pipeline live in local storage. No external application is ever sent from the studio.
Local-first
HireLane has no server, no account system, and no analytics. Searches, shortlists, alerts, applications, and employer drafts live in local storage and export as JSON. Delete the workspace and it is gone - because it was only ever yours.
