Accessibility engineer

Builds storefront software for independent retailers. Design-system discipline, quarterly pay-band reviews, no surprise rounds.

This role sits inside the design-system team. Your work is measured in audit findings that never come back: you fix the component once, document the pattern, and every product team inherits the fix.

In this role you will: run axe and screen-reader audits on every release candidate; fix focus management, contrast, and semantics in shared components; write accessibility acceptance criteria into the design-system docs; pair with product teams on complex widgets (comboboxes, dialogs, tables).

Success in the first year: Every shared component passes keyboard and screen-reader review before release.
